Is Acres of Grace Academy a private school?
No. Acres of Grace Academy is a Christian tutorial program designed to support homeschool families. Parents remain responsible for their child’s education and homeschool requirements.
How many days per week does the tutorial meet?
The tutorial meets three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Is Acres of Grace Academy faith-based?
Yes. Acres of Grace Academy is a Christian program. Prayer, biblical teaching, and Christian values are intentionally woven into daily instruction and community life.
Do families have to homeschool at home as well?
Yes. Families are responsible for completing additional instructional time at home to meet Tennessee homeschool requirements.
What ages or grades do you serve?
Our program is designed to serve students based on developmental readiness and classroom availability. Specific age ranges are shared during the admissions process.
Is enrollment guaranteed once we apply?
No. Enrollment is limited and based on available space, program fit, and alignment with our mission and expectations.
What behavior expectations are in place?
We prioritize a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered learning environment. Clear expectations for behavior, safety, and respect are outlined in our Parent & Student Handbook and reviewed with accepted families.
What happens if a student struggles behaviorally?
We believe in partnership and communication with families. If concerns arise, we work collaboratively with parents to address them. In rare cases, dismissal may occur to protect the learning environment.
Are families required to enroll with an umbrella school?
Yes. All families must maintain enrollment with Tennessee Christian Academy, which provides homeschool oversight and record-keeping.
Does Gather & Grow Fridays guarantee enrollment?
No. Gather & Grow Fridays are community events and do not guarantee enrollment at Acres of Grace Academy.
